Who operates this website
Elevent Index Advisory, the advisory division of Elevent Index, provides this educational company-valuation workspace. For privacy questions or requests, email contact@bitanghosh.com. This policy covers this valuation website, not every other Elevent Index website or any external market-data provider.
Financial inputs and calculations
Ordinary valuations are calculated in your browser. This application does not save your financial inputs or valuation results in a server database. Your current inputs and chat are held in page memory and can be lost when you reload or leave. CSV and printable reports are generated for you; files you save or share are under your control. Avoid entering information you are not authorized to disclose.
When you use the AI tutor
Sending a question to Dr. Ghosh sends your question, submitted conversation history and supplied valuation context to our server and the configured OpenAI service through Replit AI infrastructure. This can include company names and financial assumptions. The application does not persist a chat-history database, but hosting and AI providers may process and retain data under their own policies. Do not send confidential accounts, personal identifiers or sensitive information to the tutor. AI responses may be inaccurate and are not professional advice.
Market quotes and external services
Yahoo Finance is the active market-data source. The market ticker requests public Yahoo Finance quotes from our server and caches only market quotes in memory. Financial inputs are not sent to Yahoo for the ticker. Yahoo receives the server’s network request information. Tutor company lookups use the configured OpenAI web-search service restricted to Yahoo Finance, sending extracted company identifiers and any requested period, not calculator financial inputs or private reference excerpts. Google Finance is an external comparison link only; no authorized Google data feed or automated Google quote collection is configured. Visiting an external link subjects your visit to that provider’s policies. Quotes can be delayed, stale or unavailable and must not be used as an execution-price feed.
Technical logs, security and cookies
Our application records request method, URL path and response status for operation and troubleshooting; it does not deliberately log tutor request bodies or financial inputs. Hosting services may collect additional technical information such as network addresses and device/request metadata. Temporary in-memory network-address counters protect the AI endpoint from excessive requests. The application does not set advertising cookies or include advertising trackers. Hosting infrastructure may use essential technologies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the browser’s network request information.
Email contact and why information is used
The contact link opens your own email application; there is no automatic newsletter signup or email-submission form here. If you email us, we receive the information in your message and use it to reply, resolve your request and keep necessary correspondence. Information is processed to deliver requested services, maintain security, answer enquiries and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not sell the information you enter into this application.
Storage, retention and international processing
Page-memory data remain until the page is closed or reloaded; saved exports remain wherever you save them. The application has no durable market-quote or chat-history store. Operational logs, correspondence and records handled by hosting or AI providers can have different retention periods; this application does not impose a fixed deletion schedule on those services. Information may be processed in countries other than yours. Contact us to ask about records relevant to you and the applicable retention or transfer arrangements.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can use the calculator without sending anything to the AI tutor, avoid external links, and choose what to include in an email or export. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or information about processing, or to raise a concern with a relevant regulator. We may need proportionate verification before disclosing records, and legal obligations or records controlled by other providers may limit what we can delete.
Security, children and policy changes
We use reasonable safeguards but cannot guarantee that any internet service is completely secure. This workspace is intended for financial education and is not directed at children. A parent or guardian who believes a child supplied personal information can contact us. We may update this policy when the website’s processing changes; the date shown on this page identifies the current policy. This policy describes this application’s current operation and is not a certification of regulatory compliance.
